Thomasville Makes Long Trek to Louisville This Friday

Thomasville's Bulldogs will make a 5-hour trip northeast to Louisville to take on the undefeated and fourth-ranked Warriors of Jefferson County High.
Quarterback B. J. Bostic, committed to Georgia Tech, is the offensive leader for the Warriors. He's accounted for over 2,000 yards and 27 touchdowns despite playing only one complete game so far this season.
The outstanding senior has rushed for 1,047 yards on 117 carries with 13 touchdowns. In the air has completed 70 of 96 attempts with only 4 interceptions. Those completions accounted for 968 yards and 14 TDs.
The undefeated Warriors are having the best season in the school's 15-year history. Jefferson County High was formed from the consolidation of Louisville High and Wrens High before the 1995 season. Jefferson County lost in the second round the past two seasons. They are considered the best team in the Augusta area by a local media poll.
This will be the first time Thomasville has played a team from Jefferson County.

The Stadium is on US 1 about 7 miles north of downtown. You will need to deviate from the above directions and head south on US 1 to reach these restaurants. Visitors wishing to stop before reaching Louisville may also want to consider dining in Dublin, with several restaurants available near I-16.)
